Our guiding principles focus on producing high-quality, authentic products that keep up with current fashion trends. We use natural materials whenever possible, including cotton, linen, cotton blends, bamboo, hemp, and wool.

We prioritize local and traditional craftsmanship, incorporating skills such as hand-dyeing, hand-printing, knitting, weaving, and embroidery. At Shibori Nepal, we want to lead these skilled artisans toward a respectable livelihood, as they might otherwise lose their jobs to machine-driven fast fashion.

Since our inception, our main focus has been on creating and selling our own production through a Slow Fashion model. Slow fashion is an approach to producing clothing that considers all aspects of the supply chain, with the aim of respecting people, animals, and the environment. We spend significant time on the design process, ensuring each piece is made with love and of the highest quality. Production is strictly made-to-order, which means we avoid manufacturing unwanted stock. By creating garments based on customer measurements after an order is received, we proudly maintain a sustainable business model that has a positive impact on the environment by contributing less to landfills.
